Charley is the founder and executive director of Pathfinder Mission, a faith based non-profit [501(c)3]ministry. Charley and his wife have been in ministry since 1993 and on the mission field since 2005.
Charley and Martie served 5 years on the Mississippi Gulf Coast after Hurricane Katrina. They lived in Haiti for 4 years following the earthquake in 2010. They have been in Texas for the past 16 months, providing support for survivors of Hurricane Harvey.
Prior to that Charley served over 17 years in the Army, while enlisted as a radio operator, and while an officer as a helicopter pilot. During those years, he served in 2 major conflicts, Vietnam and Desert Storm. As of this printing, he has been married for 47 years, has three children and 8 grandchildren.
For the past 10 or so years, friends of the ministry have asked me to write a book about our ministry and the extraordinary things that we have watched God do through it.
I began that adventure in December 2018. I expect to publish the book by mid-February 2019.
